Heating System Service

Patterson Fuels provides 24 hour service to oil, propane, and kerosene central and space heating systems.  We offer Service contracts and will also service systems on a time-and-materials basis. 

If you are a Patterson Fuels customer, you can contact us at any time for service -- see Emergency Service.  If you are not a Patterson Fuels customer but would like to become one, please call us at 1-800-427-9276 during normal business hours.

Heating System Installations

Patterson Fuels sells and installs all types of hot water boilers, warm air furnaces and water heaters to meet your specific needs.

 

If you are thinking of upgrading your heating or hot water system to one of the new high-efficiency systems, make sure to contact us at for a free quote.

Service Contracts

Our Premium Service Contract provides you with year round insurance on your heating system for a one time fee.


Included in the plan is an annual tune-up, along with normal and emergency service 24-hours a day for the entire year. Accessory parts (thermostats, zone-valves, pressure relief valves, expansion tanks, blower and other motors, etc.) are fully covered.


The contract does not cover the furnace heat exchanger or boiler pressure vessel. To review the complete contract. click here.

Emergency Services

Patterson Fuels offers emergency fuel delivery and heating system repair service to our fuel customers. If you are a Patterson Fuels customer, you can contact us at any time, day or night, for emergency service by calling
862-3447 or 1 (800) 427-WARM (9276).

If there is no heat, check the following items:

1. Make sure there is fuel in the tank by checking the gauge. If there is fuel, continue on this list.
2. Be sure the appliance emergency (Red switch cover) switch is on (usually located at the top of the stairs to the basement).
3.
Make sure the thermostat is set to the normal room temperature.
4
. If there is an on-off switch on the thermostat, make sure it is in the "ON" position.
5.
Push the red reset button on the burner (which is usually in front of the furnace) ONCE only.
6.
Check the circuit beaker for the furnace to make sure it is not tripped.
